In contrast to the boxy SUVs that currently dominate the Lincoln range, the Anniversary Compact Concept is a low-profile, fastback design with its most recognizable features being a seamless glass roof and reverse-opening ‘welcome’ doors that open like the wings of a bird.

• Aero-Influenced Sculpting: A body shape designed to create as little wind resistance as possible while also looking good.

• Intelligent Lighting:  A removable cover that lights the wheels and has the ability to let other people know how much battery is left in the battery pack or the car itself.

• The “Ceremonial” Entry: The roof panel (which is made of glass) lifts as the doors open up. The roof will let passengers stand up before getting out.

• Solid-State Integration: The powertrain is now incorporated with the body so that maximum space can be utilized for pedestrian (driver) movement on our interior floor.

This allows them to change lanes or adjust the vehicle’s mood and speed.

Transformative Social Seating

The shape of the seats determines that all seating arrangements will be capable of being flexibly reconfigured. For instance, the front seats can rotate 180° so that the occupants can see and converse with the other occupants in the back. This will enhance the social aspect of the journey and enhance the opportunity for conversation rather than focusing on looking ahead to the road.

The “Memory” Interface & Digital Floor

Panoramic Screen: Think of a huge wrap-around screen that displays family photographs and historic maps; the origin of the idea is from the “Anniversaries” story of the concepts introduced in the new concept vehicle.

Digital Floor: Forget about carpeting; the entire floor is made from a continuous sheet of LED Display, and instead of being covered with carpets, it shows calming textures like flowing-water or grassy-forest floor patterns. The Digital Floor will also be equipped with Ambient Scents and Sound to help create a “Sanctuary”.

Electric Propulsion: The Lincoln Anniversary Compact Concept will replace traditional V6 or V8 engines with an advanced All-Electric Powertrain, utilizing high-density solid-state batteries that will be integrated directly into the vehicle’s structure.

Quad-Motor Drive: Each wheel axle will be fitted with an independent electric motor to achieve Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (IAWD) and exceptional torque vectoring for a stable and composed ride.

Target Horsepower: While still in the early stages of conceptual development, the new Lincoln Anniversary electric architecture is intended to produce between 600 and 800 horsepower, thus providing ample power for this type of vehicle.
