The original Audi e-tron review noted that the range was one of the main issues. With a new 105 kWh (gross) battery pack, Audi has addressed this concern with improved range (subject to final EPA certification). Early tests suggest an estimated EPA range of up to 300 miles for the S model, a significant increase from the previous model year’s range of 249 miles.

• Record-Breaking Charging: The e-tron GT now supports 320 kW DC fast charging, which will allow the battery to reach 10%-80% state of charge in approximately 18 minutes under ideal conditions.

• Thermal Management: The battery’s cooling system is now isolated from the cabin air conditioning; therefore, the car will be able to prepare its battery for high-speed charging more effectively at extreme temperatures.
